    Hi Sneha,

To make sure that the product can be selected in the invoice you need to make sure few steps:

    0. Create Unit Group and Unit

    1. Import the Product

    2. Create/Import Price List

    3. Then after that import the Price List Item

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

RE: Import product in Microsoft dynamics crm 2013

    Hi Sneha,

You may want to create Units and Unit Groups first. Which means you can sell your product as a single unit or multiple units. In your case I guess you will need to create 3 types of base units, i.e. size, process and sample. Further add quantities and create derived units for them.

Then you must create the Price lists and you can import the Products into CRM.

Now for each Price List, you have to assign price list items.

The blogs shared by Aileen are a good source for you to successfully import the products.

    Hi Sneha,

I have already previously provided you all the links to the steps to take (in previous forum threads).

If you don't like reading then please take a look at  this video:

    www.youtube.com/watch

Here are the instructions again (includes a flow chart which I suggested you print out so you have something to refer to):

    Hope that helps.

RE: Import product in Microsoft dynamics crm 2013

    Hai mscrmba ,

I know how to add products in crm manually. But Now I want to import my products into  crm . For that what and all templates i have to export. Then I have added some products in my crm account manually. Eg Unisize L  is one of my product. Its price is 36.50 rs for 1 kgs. I added the price list , price list item , discount list ,products in product catalog. While I am selecting Existing Product in Invoice Its just show only the quantity what I add before in Product catalog that is its shows only that 1kgs . Before I add 1 kgs  in units and price of 1 kgs in price list item . That 1 kgs is only visible in Existing product in invoice. Suppose I need to put invoice for 25kgs Unisize I need to add 25 kgs in product catalog. I always see this problem in product catalog. For this problem what shall I do? Because many customers can ask some quantity in particular product . suppose customer 1 can ask 1 tone of unisize L means i need to add 1 tone quantity unisize in Unisize L product catalog. This is my problem that is how the quantity to  be autocalculated. I donno  how to explain my problem clearly. Please help me to solve this problem?

RE: Import product in Microsoft dynamics crm 2013

    Hi Sneha,

If you have some standard unit sizes for your products, you can create a Unit Group and type in your standard quantities.

However, if you do not have standard package sizes, then you may manually type the quantity when you are creating the Opportunity or Sales Orders in CRM.

For us to be able to help you, I suggest you to include screenshots so we can understand your query better.

Yes Gagandeep. I attached  some screen  shorts. My problem Is I  add all products in Product catalog with base unit 1 kgs and price of the product. eg I added Unisize L products and base Unit is 1kgs and price of Unisize L .  Now I am selecting Existing  product Unisize L in invoice  its show only that 1 kgs but   I need to put invoice for 1000 kgs Unisize L means what shall I do? In the above images I previously added 1000 kgs and 2000 kgs Unisize L in product catalog. Suppose I need to put Invoice for Unisize L with 75 kgs means again I have to add 75 kgs in Unisize L product catalog. how many units  i have to add same as like before I did .some customer can purchase 150 kgs Unisize L another Customer can Purchase 500 Kgs Unisize L for each customer requirement I have to add units . As like this How many times I need to add . I totally got confusion. Then I have another Doubt I need to import old invoice in crm . Before importing Invoice I need to import Product or I have to add products. for Importing invoice adding products in crm is necessary or not?
