Import Solution Failed - The formula field isn't valid

I'm trying to deploy an unmanaged solution from one environment to another but the import fails. I've added the details below:

Failed line (pop-up in CRM)

Type: Field
Display Name:
Name: all
Description: The formula field isn't valid.
Detail: A SQL Server error occurred. Try this action again.

Message import log file:

Name: all
Status: Failure
ErrorCode: 0x80044150
ErrorText: There is already an object named 'p_Rollup_Inc_f0a9b81cc21e43f1b9fbdc461914ccad' in the database.

Both environments are running the same version "Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2016"

I've checked the solution for rollup fields and there are 8 present, all within the account entity. These fields are also already present in the target environment.

RE: Import Solution Failed - The formula field isn't valid

The roll-up fields all have a label and a display name. The roll-up fields however don't work in the TEST environment. When I open the formula of these fields and save them I get the following error:

"The bis_lastcompletedappointment field has an invalid XAML formula definition."

The TEST environment is a copy of PROD (CRM Online functionality). I'm going to try and roll-back these fields from PROD to TEST using a solution. Hopefully this will resolve the issues... will give an update with the result.

RE: Import Solution Failed - The formula field isn't valid

Deploying the custom roll-up fields from PROD to TEST resolved the issue. However when I included the following standard roll-up fields (openrevenue, openrevenue_base and opendeals) in the solution the import failed. It therefore seems that the initial import error from my first post is being caused by these out of the box roll-up fields. The work around for avoiding this import error is therefore the removal of these subcomponents from any solution you would like to deploy.

    Hi,

The calculation field which contain roll up field in its calculation formula can not transfer simply.

there are 2 solutions if you dont like to remove the field and re-create it again.

1-1- Export and import your solution , when importing just click on over right customization

if it doesn't work try following:

2-1- Remove the fiedformulatuin in field edit form and re-write it in target after solution imported.

2-2- Export and import your solution , when importing just click on over right customization

    Good Lock
