Deleting unit of measure is not possible due to External code

For every unit we try to delete, we get the error: Units cannot be deleted while dependent External code value exist. Delete dependent External code value and try again.

There is an external code setup, but it is not used for this unit. Is there a way to delete unit which was created not by our standards?

Yes, I have there a code. And it doesn't allow me to delete it.

While trying to delete the external code, it also throws the error: External code cannot be deleted while dependent External code value exist. Delete dependent External code value and try again.

Hi Tamira,

The form which Saurabh highlighted.. I am able to delete both information from overview and value section.

Can you check if the same external code is linked with any other units or not? And if linked, is that used anywhere?

For every unit I open, the same value is present. But the external code doesn't have a value.

If I'm right the External code table is linked to various setup, but until now I'm unable to find where the setup is used.
