Error when running "Test & Enable Mailbox"

Dynamics On-Premises v9.1, connection to Exchange On-Premises, Dynamics has a certificate. Exchange on another server.

What am I missing?

The error message "Your mailbox is now connected to Dynamics 365" cannot be sent because a server certificate required to connect to the email server using SSL could not be validated. Mailbox MAILBOX_NAME didn't synchronize. The owner of the email server profile SERVER_PROFILE_NAME has been notified.
