BC version: 27.4

I have a simple case where I use JPY in Invoice (with tax at 9%), and USD in LCY. Currency factor = 125

When I create an invoice with the following item
Exclude Tax: 917.43 JPY (7.34 USD)
Tax: 82.57 JPY (0.66 USD)
Total: 1000 JPY (8.00 USD)

Everything looks ok until I post the GL in LCY
Exclude Tax: 7.34 USD (917.43 JPY)
Tax: 0.66 USD (82.50 JPY)
Total: 8.00 USD (999.93 JPY)

Theres 0.07 different in Taxes. I'm thinking could it be possible due to double conversion from Source currency to LCY to source currency again.

I have ensure all the decimal accuracy setting are the same. Is this a standard behaviour or a bug?

Hey, This is standard behavior in Business Central (not a bug). When posting in foreign currency (JPY) with tax, BC calculates and rounds the tax separately in both currencies. Small rounding differences often appear (here 0.07 JPY) because the system prioritizes perfect balance in LCY (USD).It’s very common with JPY due to decimal differences. You did everything right nothing is wrong with your setup.Accept it or use a rounding G/L account in Tax Posting Setup if you want to clean it up.
