Activity cost locked out

Hi Guys, 

Do you know why activity cost(in campaign) cant be edited in CRM online after saving. I checked the field properties but it isnt a locked field.

    Hi,

    This field is auto calculated by system based on the values entered in the Actual Cost field on all campaign activities related to the campaign, that's why it's read only.
