NAV17 to BC14 to BC22, then to?

Good afternoon,

We are a NAV17 shop in the midst of a platform update to BC14.  One of the biggest issues we have with NAV17/BC14 is the inherited table/record locks that come with it.  At what point in the Microsoft stack are my users not going to have record/table locks?  Does the later releases if BC improve that?  Do I need to be looking at another MS suite like F&O knowing that is a significant change both in design and cost?

Hi, there are troubleshooting tools and techniques available in Business Central to help identify and mitigate issues related to table and record locks. These tools include the Page Inspector, Database Locks, and Database Wait Statistics, which can be used to investigate and analyze performance issues.
