Product configuration models in intercompany process

Dear Experts,

I want to know if we can use Product configuration models in intercompany process with D365 FO.

I tried to use it but it doesn't work.

    Hi Youssef,

    Can you indicate what exactly you tried and what do you expect here? What is the exact business scenario here? If you sell a configurable product, then usually the company itself will produce the configured item.

    What do you mean 'doesn't work'? Any there error log?

    Need to be configured in the PO(supplying company), please have a look at this thread: community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-use-bom-in-intercompany-processes

    I tried to use intercompany process with direct delivery between USMF et FRSI with a configurable product based on constraint, i got this error :

    "The product variant for item D0005 has not been released to company FRSI"

    So i wonder if product configuration models is suitable with intercompany process, thanks

    Is the USMF the company with the customer sales order and an intercompany purchase order to company FRSI which does store the sales order?

    The product is sold by USFM and it is produced by FRSI.

    1- I create a sales order in USFM

    2- I configure line in this sales Order ( the product is a configuration product based on constraint )

    3- I clicked on direct delivery

    4- I got this error : "The product variant for item D0005 has not been released to company FRSI"

    Do you know if the " product configuration models based on constraint "is suitable with intercompany process ?

    Hi,

    Please set up the type of default order settings to purchase order in USMF and production in FRSI.

    My issue is not with intercompany process, it works with a normal product, my problem is with Product configuration based on constraint with intercompany process, did you try to use Product configuration based on constraint  with intercompany process ? Do you know if the " product configuration models based on constraint "is suitable with intercompany process ?
