Hi Community,

I hope everyone doing well.

I'm here with a question about customer ledger entries.

Actually I want to run customer statement from a user Login who has security filter on permissions for exam Global dimension 1=A now when I run the customer statement the system shows me following error even I have same dimension on customer ledger entries as I modified some by using configuration package. But Detailed Customer ledger entries are not same also I can't change detailed customer ledger entries even from configuration package. as I'm admin.

When I'm trying to change detailed customer ledger entries system shows me following error.

Please note that customer ledger entries have same dimenions as on security filter but its not same on customer ledger entries.

Is there anyway to bypsass this error on report functionally.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

First I must mention that changing dimensions on ledger entries is dangerous process where you can make your entries non-consistent.
Error on first picture is related to security filters that you have assigned for customer ledger entry.

Other error is related to lack of permission for editing detailed cust. ledger entry table.

Since you are getting errors related to permissions, I assume that you do not have super user permission (even if you have admin rights on windows/tenant) and in order to solve this problem it is best to be granted super permission for your user, or you can ask help from someone who has super user permission in Business Central.

Please note that customer ledger entries have same dimenions as on security filter but its not same on (did you mean Detailed?) customer ledger entries.

Security filers on customer ledger entry will hide dimension codes that are listed as Security filers for CLE table in permission set, and you will not be able to run report which should listed you that CLE. Then it will make sense that you can see detailed ledger entries without being able to see customer ledger entries for same entries.

After you change your dimension values on detailed CLE, then you will not be able to see that entries too.

If you have additional questions I am at your disposal.

    Greetings

You could remove the filter, run the statement, then put the filter back.
