Business Central - Send Invoice For Approval via API

Hi,

I know I can 'Post' an existing invoice in BC using the API endpoint /purchaseInvoices(InvoiceGUID)/Microsoft.NAV.Post , but is it possible to send an invoice for approval via the API?

Hi,

Standard APIs does not have this action available.

But it could be possible, you can try by creating a bounded action on a new web service.

To Achive this you need to put some customization or If there is no direct API, you can set up a Power Automate flow that listens for a status change or a specific trigger (e.g., a custom field in the purchase invoice), and then sends it for approval.
