Hello,
We have a requirement, which is very very minute one. Client sent updated information for accounts(which already exists in system) in the excel sheet. Is it possible to update data from excel sheet, without using the export for re-import? Just want to avoid the manual work.
Thanks
Drew

Yes , even i faced the same issue . I updated a record in PriceListItem and imported it back to CRM 2011 , Looks like its taking that import as "Import Create"phase but not "Update Import " . How to update records and import in MS CRM 2011?
I tried merging and importing but it shows 0 in the Success, Partial Failures and Errors section.
Hi all
How can I re-import with updating the existing records? I don't have a "enrich data" checkbox...
I'm working in CRM online.
Thank you,
KR,
Anneke
Hi,
There is no out of the box way for your requirement (you have to export, make changes and then re-import to update records). However, you can create a small console application that can read the excel file, match the record based on some unique identifier and update the records in CRM.
I found workaround, but i might not go with this. Here is the link

No, you can't if you want to update data through import you have to export and merge your changes and re-import it.
