How to hide sales area ?

Hi all,

Please help me how to work with XRMTOOLBOX to hide the sales area in main navigation page .

Hi there

What I usually do is use the SiteMap Editor to add a privilege to each node in the section you want to hide. One approach I have used in the past is create an entity called "Sitemap Control", where all roles except for System Administrator lack the delete privilege, then add a privilege referencing it in the Sitemap. See screenshot below.

The other way is to use the Save Sitemap button to backup your Sitemap then just delete the nodes you want to get rid of, but I prefer the other method.

Hi Surya,

For hiding particular area,you will need to set the privilege tag to every sub area inside Sales area.

Did you want hide the sales for all the users? or you want to hide for some specific roles?

If you want to hide it for all users then use SiteMap edior from XrmToolbox and remove that area from CRM. You can use video that I posted as a reference.
