After uninstalling sql svr 2005 and installing ss 2008, db update fails on the bulk copy execution of updating the databases.  Can't find file sqlncli11.dll.  Seems to be something about the native client.  Any insights?

    RE: db maintenance

Turns out I have had this issue with two clients.  The only way to get around updating a sql server 2005 is to go straight to sql server 2012.  There appears no solution to using SL 2011 with a sql server 2005 upgraded to ss 2008.  A clean install of ss2008 works just fine, though.  If upgrading sql server, go straight to sql server 2012.
