NAV Reports using ForNAV getting "something went wrong"

Posted on by 44

We upgrade NAV 2009 to 2018.  The system is fully functional except for the reports.

We upgrade to 2014 then ran the ForNAV converter and had to address some bar code fonts and other issues.

When running the report it runs fine but when we run it a 2nd consecutive time, we get blue 'something went wrong' message.  This is a huge obstacle.  Anyone have any suggestions about how to resolve this?

We believe it has something to do with Caption Class but no idea how to resolve it.

It is doing this on all of the reports we brought up to 2018.

Hi, I also recommend contacting Fornav directly, below is their homepage and a simple manual.

    https://www.fornav.com/

Also, although Layout issues are hard to spot, I think you can also try Debugging in NAV.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/activating-the-debugger

    Hope this also helps.

    Thanks.

Did you reach out to ForNAV....they might have something to offer in way of an explanation.
