How can I improve the connection between Dynamics Business Central and Power Automate Desktop?

I have a workflow that works well for uploading invoices from Power Automate Desktop (PAD), including the files; however, it was very difficult to implement using PAD because the selectors in DBC are dynamic and change from session to session. Are there any ways to prevent the selectors from changing in each session? I had to implement it in a less-than-ideal way using PAD (sending keystrokes, delays, etc.).
Thanks for any help and ideas.

    Hello,

You can’t prevent Business Central’s web selectors from changing, since many HTML IDs/classes are dynamic per session, but you can make your PAD automation more stable by editing selectors to remove dynamic attributes (like changing IDs with numbers) and using operators such as Starts with or Contains instead of Equal, keeping only the static parts. Use text-based selectors where possible (anchor to visible labels or button text), add multiple fallback selectors, and use proper wait actions instead of fixed delays. In short, the solution isn’t freezing selectors but making them resilient by simplifying and strengthening them.
