How to colour-code view lists on dashboards

Hi,

I have a requirement to colour-code a list view based on some custom fields. Basically, I need to display contact names in Red if few conditions are true. This view will be used on a custom dashboard. I checked conditional formatting in Outlook but doesn't seem that would help in this case as I need this to happen on a dashboard. (This is for a custom entity).

Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi Lavanya,

     Please see if this helps?

I was able to color code records based on priority on the activity summary page. http://xrmadvice.wordpress.com/2014/02/05/conditional-formatting-for-crm-2013-grids-using-actions/

This ought to be achievable by creating a custom report and then embedding that in an iFrame on the dashboard. Not a trivial job to do, but depends on what skills you have / you have available to you.

    Hi Lavanya,

It is not supported by CRM.

Thanks for the reply Bruno. It is sad to hear that we cannot achieve that.

There is no supported approach to accomplish that. you would need Javascript or CSS and this is not recommended.
