Hi:

I need to paste the same number down the rows of one column, in Business Central.

Specifically, I need to enter the number 8 into one cell, copy it, and paste it automatically down the column in "one paste".

In other words, I don't want to have to paste on each row one at a time throughout the entire column.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Copying and Pasting "Down" a Column

If you don't want to customize it, you can do it quickly by pressing ⬇ and then F8.

F8: Copy from cell above: https://yzhums.com/58500/#toc5

You can also use Configuration Package, but it is a bit troublesome to use it every time...

No. There is no standard way to copy a value down the entire column.

I don't think this standard. You can copy whole row and paste it but not sell.
