For example, I know that I can setup Labour charges, Time duration, amount of liquid usage.

What else are there I can use to setup in routing?

Hope my question make sense.

    Hello,

Setting up a routing involves defining various details to accurately represent the manufacturing process. Besides labor charges, time duration, and liquid usage, you can also specify work centers and machine centers, setup and run times, concurrent capacities, routing link codes, operation numbers, capacity constraints, and standard tasks. These elements help ensure efficient scheduling, resource management, and a precise reflection of the production process.

When setting up a routing, you define the sequence of operations required to produce a finished item. Along with labor time, duration, and resource consumption like liquid usage, you can also define machine centers, work centers, setup time, run time, wait time, and move time.

Additionally, you can specify tools, subcontracting resources, and assign cost factors to each step. Routing can also include parallel operations and routing links to tie specific operations with components in the BOM. This detailed setup ensures accurate cost calculation, scheduling, and capacity planning. Proper routing setup leads to production efficiency and cost tracking across all manufacturing activities.

    Thanks.

    Thank you for the reply.

I would say that I know how to setup routings, but my question would be if there is a list of what can be put and what cannot be put in routings.
