Hi Community,
I'm trying to Export Gen Ledger entries from one Business Central to Import another Business Central tenant by using excel transformation in Table 81 (Gen Journal).
But Problem is that when I export, package is exporting two lines for each Entry Eg. its exporting two entries One. Debit with Account Type Bank Account and Account No. Bank Account No. and 2nd Debit with Account Type G/L Account (GL account assigned to same bank Account No.)
Is there any solution to import only lines those were only created in Gen Journal in previous Business Central?

Thanks in advance.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi
The advice I give you when you need to import historical tables and especially accounting entries is to export the table but build yourself some Gen. Journal Line entries to replicate the entries by recording them in the new environment.
I suggest you import everything into a staging table and then process it with a development in AL Code

You should not migrate data directly from the general ledger entry table and import it to the general ledger entry table in a new environment,
That gives you high risk of inconsitant data.

You need to produce journal lines from the G/L entries in the existing environment so they can be posted in the new environment through general journal lines.
