Confused about logic when reopening Production Order without output

In the feature note about the "Reopen Production Order" functionality it says that "You can reopen a finished production order only if the order doesn't have output":

When trying to reopen a production order without output I get an error message that says:

"This production order does not have any output. It cannot be Reopened."

So it is the opposite of what is written in the feature note.

What is the correct behavior? And why is it important to only be able to reopen productions orders with(out?) output?

Hello,

The behavior is correct; the documentation is wrong. In Business Central, you can only reopen a finished production order if it has output. If there’s no output, there’s nothing to reverse, so reopening is blocked. In that case, you should just change the status back instead.

@OussamaSabbouh Thanks for your reply. That answers my main question. But I'm not sure what you mean with "In that case, you should just change the status back instead."? I can't find a button to change the status of a finished prod. order?
