In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the Item Ageing Report provides a good big-picture view of your inventory age by showing you how long items have been held in stock and how they've aged. The report is useful in managing inventory, identifying slow-moving and obsolete items, and generally making better decisions.

Is there anything like the top 10 inventory, that can be expanded to all items?

    There are two standard reports.
    1. Inventory Top 10 List
    2. Item Age Composition - Quantity

Apart from this need to be customized.

    Thanks

    hi
you can use the built-in Item Age Composition  report, which shows how long items have been in stock by aging buckets (e.g., 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days), making it the simplest way to identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory

    Hi,

Use the Item Age Composition report for aging analysis and customize the Inventory Top 10 List to highlight slow-moving items. For deeper insights, combine these with Item Ledger Entries in Power BI for trend analysis.

Business Central provides two standard inventory reports that are useful for quick insights:

    1. Inventory - Top 10 List

This report highlights the top 10 items based on a chosen parameter, such as sales, quantity on hand, or value. It helps identify your best-performing or most-stocked items at a glance.

    2. Item Age Composition - Quantity

This report shows how inventory quantities are distributed across different age buckets (for example, 0-30 days, 31-60 days, and 61-90 days). It is valuable for monitoring slow-moving or aging inventory.

For any additional reporting requirements, such as custom filters, more detailed breakdowns, or combining data from multiple sources, customization will be necessary. This could involve building custom reports or using Power BI for more flexible analysis and visualization.
