How to change the article type?

Is it possible to change the type of item even if "Inventory" has already been selected and the item appears in sales lines?

I know that BC throws me an error message - but is there a way to change this or is it only possible via a new article?

Want to change the type from "stock" to "not stock".

Hi

This is not possible out of the box. The only method is to create a new article.

Note: for some company that control by law and they cannot easily change article number with development it is possible to change that but require very carefully draft steps to prevent future issue.
