How to change company name in bulk for users

Hi All,
 
We have a client who is creating 3 entities within their production environment and want to restrict the users to only be able to use that company which they are assigned. We can do this by changing the company name in the user card.
 
The issue is we have 300+ employees and doing this manually will take a lot of time as first we are doing it in sandbox and then i production. I cannot do it through config package as the system table is not allowed. 
 
Is there a way to change the company name on user card in bulk for lets say 70 users to company A and 130 users to company B.

    This is a system table and cannot be imported through the Configuration Package. So in addition to customization, you can try the following method. But this also requires clicking one by one, 300 times...
     
    Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.

    Hi all,
    I found another way, I crated a config package of Table 9001 and changed the company name there. The issue is when I import, it does change the company name but keeps the company which was already there and adds the other one on the top. But on the card I do not see the previous company name in the user groups.

    Hello,
     
    You can't use Configuration Package to rename the field because it doesn't know whether you trying to insert a new record or rename existing record. 
     
    Since table 9001 is working for you, you can try deleting the entire table before importing using the highlighted field.

    Thank you for your responses. 
    @Yi Yong I have checked that box before importing and it didn't delete everything, it just added the entries on the User group and changed the company name but the default permissions and company name is still showing up.
     
    @YUN ZHU I also checked the license configuration and removed the default permissions and user group from that but when I go to user card, I can still see the permissions and I am unable to delete those. I also tried to restore to default but then same result when I import. 
     
    There are no security groups assigned as we have checked that as well. 
     
    not sure what else I can check or get this fixed.

    Hello,
     
    The default permission and company name is still showing up because it was added to the "User Permission Sets" directly by "Licence Configuration" and these are not from User Groups.
     
    You will have to go into individual user card and remove them from "User Permission Sets" or you can customize a new page from PageID: 9801.
