Data Export Service Failed Notification message not appearing

Hi Folks,

We have the data export service running very well and sending data from our CRM to a SQL Server database on a VM in Azure.  The export is working fine.  Unfirtunately, when we get a failed record and select the Failed Notification icon to get the url nothing appears.  If there is no failed record and we select that icon a message box appears saying there are no failed records.

In the documentation about the Data Export Service regarding the Failed Record Noticiation we should see a message like this:

Unfortunately we are not getting anything - there is a grey cycling indicator that shows the CRM is doing somehting but no message appears.

I am not sure how to diagnose this or where to look.

    Hi Binway,

    Have you tried downloading the Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer? It is required to download and explore the list of failed records.

    Yes I have that installed, it is the message with the url that I am not getting when I select the Failed Records icon that I want to look at.

    We have the same problem at the moment. We are not able to see the records that has been failed. This is really a big issue for us because some CRM-records are now not being synchronised to our database.

    I have tried using Chrome and IE as well. Unfortunately is does not help:(

    We have a similiar issue in that the Data Export Service has a failed record but when you select the Failed Record icon no message appears.  We logged a call with Microsoft.

    The answer has come back that the MS CRM team have disabled that Failed Notification for a particualr reason (not specified) and that it should return at the end of this week or early next.

    They said that a notification is sent via email or in the O365 Health Dashboard,  I am not the adminsitrator so didn't see these messages but now knwo where to get the Admin person to look.

    Hope this helps - if it comes back next week when we test I'll update this accordingly.
