Mandatory field on CRM Form

I have four fields on CRM form which are set as "Business Required". They  have been arranged sequentially on form. When I click Save, system puts the focus on Field 1, then on Field 2. But after that it moves the focus directly to Field 4. It skips field 3. Field 3 and Field 4 are Lookup and I have not even set any filtering on these lookup.

Any idea why system is behaving this way?

Thanks in advance.

Is it related to the way CRM does field indexing?

I guess we cannot control this business required sequence. Open for any other suggestions though.

    Hi Meet,

Please delete field 3 and field 4 and recreate them in sequence Field 3 first and then Field 4.

U might have created Field 4 before field 3.

I created two new fields again and I added field 3 on form published form and then added field 4 and published. But still it goes to Field 4 first.. Does it have something to do with field name? My field 3 is contact reason and field 4 is primary category which are lookup  fields.

I hope You first removed existing look up fields and then created the same look up fields and added to form in sequence right?

If this not works then you will have to do this via JS only On page load event.

I have added screenshot of my form designer on the post. The sequence it follows is Field1 -> Field2 -> Primary Category -> Contact Reason

Yes, I removed the existing fields and then added Contact Reason first , published form and then added Primary Category.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi Meet,

try changing layout of the fields in the form, it may be the reason of indexing the fields also.

    Thanks and Regards
