Find out the company name in account

Hi. we are using as nav as master page and updating in crm. now i need to know our company name was xyz and it is changed to abc now the issue is duplicates are being created i need to know which company it is updating from. how can i know the comapny xyz or abc in crm

    Hi,

     sounds like you just need some other key for synchronization(something permanent that does not change.. some sort of ID).

    There is no OOB company field in account or contact. This should be customized field or sometimes we rename ParentAccount to Company, i.e Account entity to Company Entity

    I could not get your issue cleary. but i can ssay that you can get the change history in following ways

    • Check Audit History of the record. You can also check AuditHostory table if onpremise
    • Filter in Advance find for modifiedon Date equals today and see if you can get any clue. If on Premise, check the DB(like contactbase table)

    hi goutham i just want to know the records created in accounts are from which company as we changed our company name from xyz to abc

    in case we have a field called company there i can see but in accounts we dnt have comapny field
