cannot remove member from team

I have a user that is a member of the only Local Business Team and I cant remove them. when I try it says

"you cannot remove one or more of the users selected. The membership of default teams cannot be modified"

this user has full admin rights and because I cant remove them from the team I cant seemt o set true admin rights for the user. any ideas?

I need to move this person out of the team as the team security role seems to override the user assinged security role

    Hi there,

    The message you are receiving is expected. They are a member of the default team created with the Business Unit. You can manage the security roles of the Team directly on the team. Therefore, if the system administrator role is on this team, they will have system administrator rights. You would need to remove this role from this team in order for the user's security role to have the rights assigned by their security role.

    In my cases, I tried following steps, and it worked on me:

    1. reassign associated users/members to other business unit

    2. change any manager that has with these associated member/user

    3. (do not remove) from button 'team', instead use remove members button or recyclebin icon from team/queue membership.

    That's the team created along with the business unit. No way you can change.

    Go through your requirements again and see how you can achieve it by having another team or so on.

    If this user suppose to have a specific admin rights, just create the admin role for this user, or add this user to the team having the admin role.
