Hi Scopecrm, thanks for reaching out.
Does the hyperlink need to be dynamically created? You can't format the success message from within Dynamics UI, but thinking you could add javascript that looks for that message and updates contents. I have not tried that, but let me know what you're thinking. Thanks.
Hi Tom, thanks for looking into this
No it's a static hyperlink in success message(e.g "Thanks for submitting the form. for more information click here").. i want to add a hyperlink in here text
Hi Scope,
On the entity form have you looked at Additional Settings section and Advanced Settings in the top right of that subgrid? Add an action for Submit, and click Advanced Settings. This opens to show the Success Message. Place your content there. Thanks for submitting the form. For more information <a href=google.com>Click Here</a> and the HTML should display correctly.
Let me know if this works for you.
Yes you just need to craft the html yourself for example something like "a message here with a link here<a href="mylink">my link</a>". I am using 8.2.0.265 and do not see the successmessage field on the Entity Form CRM ui, it is hidden by default. I've enabled the visibility and added some content and confirmed the message with html renders as expected.
Thanks Craig, I was wondering if I didn't have enough coffee. I thought that success message text box should appear on the entity form when you choose "Display success message". Thanks.
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the above information but It's a not a entity form i am trying to add this on. it's a web form step i am trying to add it on.
Actually Tom I think you might be correct. That field may be legacy now. I forgot that when we added the submit button functionality that the messaging was moved into the action button meta data. I am however finding that I am getting unexpected results. I can't seem to get the button success message to work at all, for that matter none of the action button settings are functional. Might have to inquire with MS and see whats up.
Same thing for a web form. Open the last step or any step, but typically the last step has a success message. Then type your information there using the HTML tags for hyper links. Hope this helps.
Great thank you.
Yes, I am going to open a ticket as well. I am seeing the same thing. I have made changes and waited, and dumped cache and refreshed, and still no change showing in portal.
