Anything for GDPR in Commerce solution?

Hi all

With cloud database, CSU and the ecommerce (B2B and B2C) websites all hosted out of the US, has Microsoft done anything for GDPR to NOT store data in the US or keep it in Europe and not synched to the US data center? I don't see anything new...certainly no options to ask the customer for consent on MPOS or websites if data can be stored outside Europe.

For the Retail/Commerce people with US, Europan and online stores, how did you handle it?

I have the same question (0)

Thanks Paul. The link was very insightful (and the others it led to). It's interesting that for US based retailers with stores in Europe we can't have one DB out of the US hosting all the customer data...and the fact that some data is still 'in transit' and sent outside the data boundary for edge computing.
