AZURE AD B2C email verification code expiration

We use AZURE AD B2C for our D365 portal access and as part of the sign up process a verification code get ‘s sent from Microsoft to the contacts email used in the sign-up form. This verification code seems to expire after 20 minutes and the issue we are having is that some contact emails systems delay the receiving to say 30 minutes and at this stage the validation code is invalid and they are unable to proceed.

 

I there a way to increase the verification code timeout?

    As far as I know - you cannot change this timeout.

    Seems you have challenging problems on your side (recieving  email for 30 mintes it is too long). You can disable email verification for now - docs.microsoft.com/.../active-directory-b2c-reference-disable-ev or use another verification, like SMS.

    Overall seems you need to look for info at the different source, like: stackoverflow.com/.../azure-ad-b2c-email-verification-code-expiration

    Thanks for your reply. This is only happening for a handful of our clients since it their exchange servers  which are delaying the emails and not our process
