Hello everyone,

In our company we're having the following case, I'll appreciate any idea that can help to solve it.

when we verify our balance sheet for a month period we are finding a difference of -9.13.

I have checked the accounting movements of the filtered month and they are all balanced, additionally I have checked the sum of the movements vs. the total in the chart of accounts page. All seems are ok.

Thanks in advance for any idea that can help us to find the cause.

Can you pinpoint the unbalanced GL account?
It seems that the amount of a certain GL account is not included in the balance sheet. You can check the report of the standard balance sheet by the following method.

Hello,

You can export the Financial Report (Balance Sheet) Rows Definition and do a vlookup against Chart of Accounts to identify the missing G/L Account.

A small difference like -9.13 on the balance sheet often points to rounding issues or posting across periods. In Business Central, check if any G/L entries were posted with different posting dates vs. document dates, or if there's a multi-currency transaction involved that may have caused a rounding variance. Also, review any dimension filters or custom layouts used on the balance sheet report - they can exclude entries unintentionally. Additionally, re-run the Trial Balance for the same period to cross-verify totals. Such minor discrepancies are typically due to rounding, filters, or timing mismatches rather than actual posting errors.

Hi,

Most Probably any Total Formula could be wrong.

Please make sure you specify correct Formulas in total field on G/L Account Card.
