Scheduling a Call

I'm looking for a way for sales to schedule calls more efficiently in CRM. Simply enter the date and contact and then that it, really simple.

Any ideas or third party solution would be appreciated

    You can build a workflow that will do it for you. For example on contact form you may have custom datetimefield. OnSave you can trigger workflow that will create telephone activity.

    Or maybe excel import will be OK?

    Please describe, how would you like to schedule the call.

    I would like it to quick and easy, Simply click on a button and fill-out the date required and CRM dose the rest

    Check this third party solution crm.fullscope.com/phone-call-schedule-assistant-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011 (This would involve cost)

    Other Options:

    1. Create a field called, 'Call Date' on contacts

    Create a workflow on change of this field and in the workflow action action to create a new phone call with the contact and due date = call date (This is a lot quicker and just a click solution)

    2. Create a dialog on contacts

    with a field for date and contact in it which at the end creates a phone call (This would be a 6 click solution)
