Hi
When users go to Dynamics, they get a list of Apps, and users are accidentally clicking the Outlook GUI on their Desktop and can't then see the main App.
To make it easier for users to identify the correct app, I'd like to add a Logo to the App (and to remove the logo from the Mobile app), but I can't find out how to do this.
I tried going into the Properties of the App, but the option to add/change the App Tile is grayed out, and if I go into Themes (via Customization > Advanced Settings), then removing the logo only removes it from the top, left-hand corner of the App (not from the App picker).
Does anyone know how to do this? Surely it should NOT be this difficult?!
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I accidentally found out that this was just because it took the App so long to load all the info on the page. I had gone to a different Tab and then moved back to the tab with this App, and the ability to edit the logo was enabled. So, it appears you just have to wait a few minutes until the who App loads before you can change the logo! Seems odd in 2020, but there you go
Hi Partner,
Please also check when you creating a new custom app, Is the "Use default Image" still grayed-out, if so, please raise a ticket to Microsoft and let the engineer help you find out the reason on server side.

Leo
Hi Leo
Thanks for your reply. I am the Global Admin, so I don't understand why this is grayed out?
Hi Partner,
The right step is upload the new icon you want as a png file into web resource and then set this icon as the app icon in App designer.
But in your case the icon is grayed out, so please check if you have the system administrator security role.

Leo
