Hi, GBP has been set up as a currency although this is the base currency, transactions have been carried out for some time, can the GBP Currency just be removed from the currencies table, or due to having transactions is this not possible?

Hi,

By Default in BC if you keep the currency code field as blank it by default means Local Currency as you have defined in the General Ledger setup.

If you have not used GBP Currency code explicitly in any of your transactions then Yes you can go ahead and delete the master.

However, if you have used this currency code in any of the transaction it is better idea to first close all those entries as it may result in Forex Gain loss when you apply GBP with Blank currency code.
