When I try to release an Inventory Adjustment batch, I get the "Batch will cause a cost to quantity imbalance in itemsite" error and the batch will not release. Anybody knows how to resolve this?

Hello Carolyn, I would appreciate if you provide me the script of IN_Debug.
Looks like KB871506_IN_Debug.sql link doesn´t work or no longer exists.
Please send me to pinogarciap@hotmail.com
Thank you very much,
Peter
Hi DJ,
To help diagnose why a batch won't release, we use a tool called IN_Debug. You would need access to SQL Server Management Studio. You can find the instructions and script in KB 871506. Use the instructions for the IN_Debug section, not the Database Calls instructions.
The error message most likely identified the inventory id that is causing the issue. When looking at the results of the IN_Debug, you can compare the Intran for that item to the records in the ItemSite table. All this information will be in the results after running the IN_Debug.
Let me know what you find after running the script and I'll try to help.
Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for your reply, I tried the IN Integrity Check but it didn't work. Oh, Also the version of SL that I'm using is 7 sp 4.
DJ
Hi DJ,
First you could try an run the IN Integrity Check for the inventory item that is causing the error and be sure to check all the options on the left hand side.
Let me know if running the IN Integrity Check resolves the issue.
