Can we apply the retail pricing engine in the back office order?

Hi,

Can we apply the retail pricing engine in the back office order in general? Are there parameter to make it possible to do so?
For example, we have (retail-specific) price adjustment function which can only be activated with the a retail price group.
But the back office is a non retail context. Are there any parameter in which we can force the price adjustment to affect back office order pricing?

Also, can we apply (retail-specific) discounts in the back office order?
In retail module we have the following:
* retail parameter - discount concurrency control model
* pricing priority
* discount type (threshold discount, mix and match discount quantity discount)
* discount concurrency mode (best price, )
and so on..

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

I think you can use call center sales functionality.

    Hi

The call center is also a part of retail context, isn't it?

Are there any specific reasons why you recommend me to use this funct?

    Thank you

Yes, call center is a part of Retail.

If you want use retail pricing engine, the only way is use call center SO.

For Pricing engine, it should be the same.

standard sales order processing in the application (supply chain features) do not leverage retail pricing logic.  The only way to take a sales order in HQ and leverage retail pricing logic is to create a call center channel and users and create your orders in salestable logged in as a call center user.
