Sales Order Reservation

Hello All,

We are working on D365 10.0.9.

Sales Reservation is set to 'Manual' in AR parameters.

I couldn't enter any values on reservation field (Sales lines> Inventory>Reservation). The field is disabled.

If I click on 'Reserve lot' button, it is reserving the quantity available onhand and the balance on 'On order'.

I couldn't remove the reservation or enter values in the field. (It's same when I try with Automatic reservation on SO)

I used to work in 10.0.5 where I was able to enter any values on the Reservation filed.

I do not believe it's a new feature in 10.0.9. I am missing something.

What setup is missing? Please advice.

Information:

Item Model group: Item Sales reservation is 'Default'

Storage dim group: Primary Stocking is 'Yes' since we are WMS and Mandatory is NO.

Batch No: Batch is below the Location on the Reservation Hierarchy.

Warehouse tab on the Warehouse form:

As per the above discussion, please check the Picking list registration form and output orders form for this sales order and remove and recreate the new one.

Thank you for your response.

Those posts didn't help.

We are using Advanced WMS process so no output orders either picking list registration.

Its a new sales order, I didn't even confirm the SO or release to WH yet, just created a line and tried to reserve it.

And also no marking to SO.

Please let me know if I miss any other setup.

first confirm the inventory transactions for the SO line, should have qty on 'on order'

check your reservation hierarchy and suggest

Inventory transactions from SO line shows on order and reserved physical.

I cannot edit the reservation field yet, which I am hoping someone can share their expertise.

Hello All,

we disabled couple of new features (shown below) which we enabled before.

Reservation field is editable now after disabling these features.

Not sure the link between Grid preview (My view/standard view) on every form vs Reservation field.

Its working in 10.0.10.

Try using reservation form in standard view.

the new saved views could be in play here

Sagar and Hrithi suggested the way

Based on your PU, there are couple of quality update son saved view which could be seen in LCS
