Qualifying leads

Hi,

We are trying to qualify a lead to a contact, but for some reason whenever we qualify them they are only creating an opportunity and not a contact, meaning we are basically losing them? We can then find them in closed leads, but we need to find a way of just qualifying him into a contact.

Has anybody had any experience with this?

Hi Jel,

Here is another option if your users liked the ability to select what records are created. This uses the previous behavior of a popup and still works in CRM 2013.
