We have item tracking turned on and required for all inbound and outbound transactions. Usually we will get an error if someone forgets to enter a serial number, however sometimes it will let a user enter the receipt or output journal w/o an entry and it will cause all sorts of problems. An item reclass does not allow a change from null to a value. I have item journaled the item out and in again to fix them. Has anyone else seen this scenario? I'd like to find out the reason it is allowed at times and address that issue.
