Can on premise run with in cloud?

Hi everyone

I have a simple question, is it possible to have an on premise installation of Dynamics CRM 2011, which can exchange data with the cloud version?

Basically, we want a server locally to contain data so the office staff have speedy access to data, but remote workers can remain connected to the cloud version.

All data should be sync'd between the two permenantly.

    You might look into this: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Instance Adapter

    Otherwise there are also third party tools like Scribe that can handle scenarios like this.

    There is no out of the box support for this type of deployment.

    I would recommend looking at having only a cloud deployment and improve your cloud connectivity rather than trying to sync the two together. There are various ways you can improve your client connectivity - and in general O365 performance is very good if not better than you'll get on prem unless you have very limited bandwidth and high latency on your internet connection.

    If you do need to do the sync - then there are many concurrency issues that you'll have to work through -  in addition to Jason's suggestions a good tool to use would be Simego's Data Sync Studio - http://simego.com/
