Dynamics 365 issues with Field Service Mobile App

Whenever I try to open any of my bookings which have been scheduled, the app gets closed unexpectedly. Expected behavior would have been me being able to view the details about the current booking. I have tested apps on both the platforms including IOS and Android. Apps are an important part of field service as they are needed by field technicians to view various bookings they have been scheduled to. 

Any help. suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Hi

    Is it updated version of app installed?

    Try to install in windows 10 machine and check the same.

    If an issue still persists then you have to raise ticket to Microsoft

    I'm having the exact same issue. Tried field service - Dynamics 365 app on android, apple and PC. If I try to open a booking it closes on all 3 platforms. Already opened a ticket with the developers, but will probably take time to fix.

    Hi Jesus,

    Thanks for replying even I were about to raise a ticket for the same. What response did you get about the issue from Microsoft side?

    Dynamics 365 was launched recently and a lot of bugs are coming up everyday. I also found issues with gmail configuration using POP.  Don't know how did these bugs got passed their testing phases.

    No I haven't customised the mentioned entity. I used it in the out of the box form.

    Try downloading the Woodford solution and field service project. You do this from configuration page on your field service solution.

    Then publish a slightly older version, I recently solved this issues with version 9.1 of the field service project.

    Also double check user (even admin) has the field service roles assigned

    I don't get it. Please elaborate a bit if possible. Do i have to follow this tutorial https://neilparkhurst.com/2016/09/04/field-service-download-resco-mobile-crm-woodford-solution/ and follow these steps in the following way:

    1. Download the Resco Woodford Solution
    2. Import the Resco Woodford Solution
    3. Download the Field Service project
    4. Import the Field Service Project
    5. Publish the Field Service Project

    If you open your Field Service solution you will find that the configuration page has a couple of links. These will help navigate you to some more detailed instructions. You will have several Field Service solutions! The one you need is shown in this screen shot.

    Then you will find the links required on the configuration page.

    Hi Neil,

    Thank you. Then after that do I have to download both of them and then import them? After that publish them? I assume I will refer your tutorial from here onward. It is still not clear to me. How will I do this "Installing a slightly older version" ? Whether I have to install older version of field service project? Please elaborate a bit how will this happen "Installing and publishing slightly older version"?

    Has this issue been resolved? If not, then I would like to recommend using Tenfold to integrate with your Google Apps to Office 365. Its really easy and will only take a few minutes to set up.
