"Value Open" Inventory Issue Transactions for Closed Periods

Hi,

Regarding the below inquiry, Some of Inventory Issue transactions still have /YES/ for /Value Open/ field despite the period when they have been issued is CLOSED - Would you explain why?

Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Tranasctions

Hi,
Value open that indicates whether the selected inventory transaction has been settled by the inventory closing process. If this field is set to Yes, the transaction hasn't been settled.

Hi,

This also depends on your valuation method you are uisng.

Are you performing inventory close ? and recalculation periodically?

In General; In Weighted Average Valuation Method, What are the reasons that keep Inventory transactions not settled even after period closing & inventory closing & recalculation?
