We are using the consumption journal to post scrap qty of raw materials created from the processing of them. We have 2 main scrap types and would like to distinguish these as we record the consumption. I tried separate journals for each scrap type with different document number series for each journal, but when I select the Production Order on the consumption line the Production Order number is copied to the Document Number field and overwrites the original document number. Is there a way to change this s I can assign a number series that will be retained?
