Create Purchase Invoice Incoming Document from path

I would like to create a incoming document on the purchase invoice.

I got a path and would like to add this document in code.

Does anyone know how I can add a incoming document in code, when I got the Purchase Header?

I have no idea how I can do this and didn't find any code.

    With the API makes the most sense as it will limit how much coding you have to do. Here is a guide on using it: joshanglesea.wordpress.com/.../

    I dont think this is best solution.

    In my solution I would like to create the document in a Xmlport which gets called by a webservice, so I would like to code everything and dont use api call in api call.
