Hello Team,

I would like to deploy Dynamics 365 Business Central for a customer online. This is will be my first deployment and hence I would like to know based on previous experiences from the team members who have deployed the same solution.

  1. The number of days it would take to deploy the solution.
  2. What factors to put into considerations before conducting the deployment.
  3. If possible also highlight for me what I will need to include in the scope of work.
I have the same question (0)

    1) Few minutes for activating the tenant, all is provisioned automatically by Microsoft. Company setup (financials and so on) depends on your business case.

    2) You need to activate correct licenses for users (essentials vs premium vs team members) accordinly to your business needs

    3) You need to calculate that customers often wants customizations. So, if you need to estimate a budget, take into consideration also the development time of these customizations.

Thank you very much Stefano, My customer is in Africa, specifically Kenya maybe you can advise. Is it best to deploy it as an on premise solution or online. And for the two options what are the pros and cons?

Same features. On SaaS all the infrastructure is managed by Microsoft while on-premise all is managed by you. With the cloud option, you cannot physically access the database while on-premise the database layer is accessible.

Customizations possibilities are the same, so choice between cloud vs on-premise depends mainly from the type of business decision your customer will take.
