Alternate modified forms and reports crashes GP

I have a client that upgraded from GP 2010 SP4 to GP 2015.  When they go to the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window and select the Product to All Products, Type to either Windows or Reports.  Once the Type is selected the window will crash, and give us the following error message.  How do we fix?GP-Crash-message-7.20.15.png

    Go back to your GP 2010 installation and export all of your reports. Delete the REPORTS.DIC file and then import that package file back into GO 2010. Then take that REPORTS.DIC file and upgrade it again. You have a corrupted reports dictionary file.

    I do the same task by simply (1) rename the old Reports.dic file from the GP2010 installation to ReportsX.dic, then (2) log into GP and go to Customize >> Report Writer, select Microsoft Dynamics GP as target.  Once there, use the Import, select the location of the OLD GP2010 ReportsX.dic file - and the system will do that import for you.

    I like the idea of the export, if it is one report, but when you dont know which one is causing the problme, I like to start the Report.dic file from scratch.  Plus the added advatage here is that you dont have to have a GP2010 client still working in order to 'go back'

    Just my two bits.
