I need to basically start over with the Contacts entity and wanted to know what the quickest and easiest way to do that is. I don't believe that any of the contacts are linked to any other entity, as I just exported info from one entity and imported into Contacts.

If you're talking about structure, a lot of what you will need to do is manual. The only way to remove custom fields is to manually remove them from your CRM system. Loading new solutions doesn't delete old customizations, so you'll need to remove those kinds of changes one by one. However, once you've done that, you could make a Contacts-only unmanaged solution from a vanilla CRM instance and load it into your current system. This will reset all the system forms and views to their default state.
