Unable to Generate Picking List for Sales Order, 'No Print Management Settings are Applicable so no document is produced'

Hello wise community,

We have an order that we need to 'Generate a Picking list' for. Unfortunately the Generate Picking List button is greyed out. Neither the customer nor the order are on hold, and the inventory is available. It's looks as if this order has already been released. But there is no Picking List, or Output order associated with it. When i try to Release this order I get the below warning

"No Print Management Settings are Applicable so no document is produced'.

This is confusing because the print management settings used are the same for all our orders, and we are only having this issue on a few orders, and no changes have been made to them recently. It is also strange that it throws this warning ,and yet we are unable to execute the "Generate pick list' from the Sales order directly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more information is needed.

Thanks,

Kailey

    Hi Kailey,

Could you please share the Quantity and Deliver now fields on sales order lines for the order?

I figured this out- the Deliver Now column wasnt being populated correctly.

That's the only other logic (with Deliver Now and Quantity) that could have prevented the picking list button from being enabled. Great that you figured out the issue!
