Calculation details for cost and price report

Can someone please explain me what this report 'Calculation details for cost and price report' is supposed to show?

We do not have production. But we use BOM journal for kitting. and using FIFO. How do I setup a BOM to see this report usage? Although I have BOMs setup, this report brings up no data.

    Hi,

    I did try using this report in demo data and looks like it calculates cost for different types for items BOM, Cost group etc...
