Since the release of BC17.1 i have trouble adding of modifying a "vendor Item No." on the "item vendor Catalog".
Apparently in the "Onmodify" trigger of the record an error occurs when the BC tries to synchronise with the "Item Cross Reference" table.
Error message : record in table Item cross reference already exists. Identification fields and values...
The list of item Cross references was empty before adding a record to the Item vendor Catalog.
After adding the record in de item vendor catalog and after reverting the changes (only possibility), a record was added to the cross reference table with the Item vendor no. used in the item vendor catalog.
There is no way to add or modify a vendor Item No. in the item vendor catalog.
The other way round does seem to work correctly. Adding a vendor Item No. in the cross-reference synchronises correctly with the Item vendor Catalog.
